Great veggie pho. They don't add MSG which I greatly appreciate. Too bad they do not open for dine-in, only take-out and delivery. I cannot delivery to Broomfield :(
A beautiful component to the city of Louisville. After closing down the interior due to COVID, there's a reason they've been able to stay open for so long. Excellent service, fantastic food, and an incredibly low cost (if not ordering through Door Dash). Highly recommend the tofu spicy pad thai.
Uber Eats Delivery. Did my special requests PERFECTLY. Everything is perfectly hot. Everything looks fantastic. I've been looking for a good Chinese close to Lafayette for a long time. I'm not sure why I didn't try this before. Excellent Excellent Excellent.
Right now double happy is only doing takeout and delivery... I have to say that I am super pleased with the delivery service... They did tell me it would take about an hour and I had our dinner in about an hour so that was really good... Everything was fresh and piping hot so that must mean that they were super busy and then just made a quick delivery as the food is ready... The volume of food was immense... I think I got three meals out of each entrée... We enjoyed beef and broccoli some appetizers and sweet-and-sour pork... So delicious we were extremely happy

The energy in the restaurant is always calm, the food there is delicious, always clean, and never served cold. The staff are always very nice! Definitely recommend.
There are definitely more gourmet Chinese restaurants around, but for huge servings of all the American-Chinese classics, Double Happy does it very well, and it is a thoroughly family-run place. The owners being Vietnamese, the pho is also great and offered in a wide variety. I typically get take-out, which is smooth thanks to their own parking lot behind the building. On the other hand, eating in tends to be a slow experience, and delivery can take much longer than the time estimate given.
